Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data ROUTENEST Inc. (“ROUTENEST,” “we,” “us”) collects, why we collect it, and how we handle, store, and delete it.

1. Data We Collect

  • Account data — name, email, and hashed password.
  • Route data — addresses, coordinates, stop notes.
  • Usage data — logs of features used, device/browser metadata, IP addresses.

2. How We Use Data

We process personal data to provide, secure, and improve the Service, to communicate with you, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data.

3. Legal Basis

For users in the EEA/UK, our legal bases include contract necessity, legitimate interest (analytics, security), and consent (marketing emails).

4. Sub‑Processors

We use trusted sub‑processors: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Postmark (email), and Stripe (payments). Data is stored in the USA.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use first‑party cookies for authentication and anonymous analytics. We don’t serve third‑party advertising cookies.

6. Data Retention

Route data is deleted automatically 30 days after creation unless you explicitly save it. You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, export, or restrict processing of your personal data. Email privacy@routenest.com to exercise these rights.

8. Security

All traffic is TLS‑encrypted in transit. Data is encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is protected by hardware tokens and SSO.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We will post any Privacy Policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, provide a prominent notice or email.
